eurac’s Executive Coaching Institute

The eurac Executive Coaching Institute presents problem- and goal-oriented transfer of success skills for your individual daily practice.”

Executive Coaching is an individual development measure for leaders.

Leaders – as the smallest base unit – are also the central focus of eurac’s Executive Coaching for teams and entire companies. One of eurac’s major strengths is the transfer of knowledge and competencies from the theoretical to the practical through coaching, based on individuals, teams, and organizations. The basis for this work are the content-free methods and techniques of the eurac Skill and Competency Framework, developed by eurac researchers and taught at the eurac Executive Academy.

Coaching

Executive coaching for you, your team, and your business.

Those who want to achieve goals and successfully master the future must be capable of effective action. Leaders must remain professionally and personally oriented to make decisions and meet the increasing demands of the market. This means that the achievement of Personal Excellence, Team Excellence and Company Excellence requires target-oriented application of methods and techniques. eurac’s professional form of individual learning occurs in a strictly confidential and limited time frame.

Coaching versus Consulting

Consulting

Comes from “advising”, meaning that the consultant brings additional expertise and competencies from outside to a person, a team, or a business. The consultant has the experience and skills needed to solve a specific problem.

Coaching

Coaches at eurac master methods and techniques at the process level to develop the potentials of individuals, so that the coachee (the leader) experiences an increase in his or her own competencies and achieves his or her goals independently. The coachee is an expert in his or her own context and specialty, while eurac coaches are experts in the processes leading to the target.

What is Executive Coaching?

Executive Coaching helps you…

  • Discuss and work with concrete questions of professional life and issues and emotions related to personal behaviors, by handling them with a neutral coach.
  • Identify and solve your own (also emotional) entanglements. You can discover the chronic stumbling blocks in yourself that you have been unable to discover on your own, since it is often difficult to elucidate your personal limitations.
  • Cope with professional and personal challenges and their impact on your business and private life.

When?

The starting point for a coaching process can be a variety of events and issues, including:

  • To assist in your acceptance of a new role or position.
  • To strengthen and deepen your understanding of social competencies in relation to communication and conflict.
  • To find your personal source of energy and avoid “burnout.”
  • To acquire and use proper tools as possible solutions in dealing with difficult interpersonal situations.
  • To keep critical situations on the front end of decision-making in order to reflect all possible consequences.
  • To redefine your personal and career goals.
  • To further develop your usage of personal resources and potential.

Benefits

Executive Coaching helps you…

  • Direct crucial business and personal goals.
  • Substantially and objectively increase performance in specific areas.
  • Practice your new competencies for success.
  • Nurture an entrepreneurial attitude.

Leaders must first be able to lead themselves; then, they are competent to lead others!

Executive Coaching

The eurac Skill and Competency Framework

A fundamental goal of coaching is to help you help yourself, as well as to encourage self-responsibility and self-awareness.

The eurac Coaches help individual people, teams, and entire companies by placing skills and knowledge (competencies) in the right places in order to achieve the best possible results.

The eurac Skill and Competency Framework will thereby be targeted at individual problems and will be applied for:

  • Individuals (Personal Excellence)
Career planning, self-management, stress management, communication, time competency, change techniques.
  • Teams (Team Excellence)
Team development, management and leadership, crisis management and system mediation, team culture and internal communication, creative management, change management, team benchmarking.
  • Businesses and Organizations (Company Excellence)
Organizational development, organizational culture, business design and modeling, innovation management, learning organizations, management and leading, change management.

Executive Team Excellence Coaching

Top managers are designers. They run in top form when they are organizing people and things: employees, resources, and capital. In executive coaching, the focus is on the manager or the executive and the management team.

The goal is the further development of the management board as a system.

This form of coaching concentrates on increasing the effectiveness and performance of management while assisting in the development of the organization and the company’s high-position management teams (leadership teams).

New work structures and methods should be used in the management board in order to develop stronger team bonding.

Company Excellence Coaching

The organizational development of many businesses is relevant to their success. Unfortunately, in many businesses of all sizes, there is a lack of appropriate “know-how”, which often hinders the possibility of establishing suitable competencies for success in a quick and cost-efficient manner.

eurac Organization Specials are constructively custom-tailored coaching seminars for exactly this reason. Professional eurac Organization Coaching offers an additional level of specialization in the area of organizational development within your business field.

  • Value-based Customer Management – The Continual Development of the Customer
Successful customer management can only be established when a supplier respects its customers in the manner it would wish to be respected as a customer itself. This means that you must be in the position to steer the further development of the company and all changes with the aim of increasing your customers’ core competencies through your products, services, and coaching. Therefore, you must have a desire to discover the core competencies of your customers.
  • Management Prodigy Program
In large companies today, trainee and management prodigy programs are a matter of course. “Up and coming” management are encouraged to learn necessary business and leadership skills. However, in small and middle-sized businesses, management prodigies are often not provided with any systematic preparation for their leadership (managerial) tasks and are required to either “sink or swim.” At eurac, you will find a management program designed especially to promote the goal-orientated development of management prodigies.
  • Assessment-Center
Every business experiences increases and decreases of its human resources. The issue of employment headcount remains a management task. No one, aside from the executive, is later responsible for the achievements, by the chosen employees.
  • Crisis Management and Economic Mediation
There is a well-known saying from system theory, which states, “in dealing with difficult conflicts or problems within the system, it is sometimes better to look for a solution with an outsider’s perspective.” When a deadline for the solution plays a major role, eurac Business Coaches can provide effective and efficient crisis-management training.
  • Managing Organizational Culture in Mergers and Acquisitions
Mergers and acquisitions often hide a danger of “culture shock”. In addition to integration of numbers, data, and facts, eurac specializes in the necessary integration of corporate cultures.
  • Authentic Core Marketing from the Company’s Core Values
The internal and external communication of your company can only be successful when your employees, customers, and partners are in line with you, and when all levels of communication are authentic. Therefore, your employees, customers, and partners are the experts of your company, while eurac is the expert for communication and the process of authentic core marketing.
